Rider requirements

You must hold a valid motorcycle license or endorsement (Class M). This is not a beginner course. You should already be comfortable riding on the street with solid fundamentals in clutch/throttle control, braking, and low speed maneuvering.

2

Your motorcycle

Bring your own street legal motorcycle in good working condition. Cruisers, touring bikes, sport bikes, and dual purpose bikes are all welcome. Your bike must have valid registration, a current inspection (if required in your state), and active insurance.

3

Required safety gear

You are expected to arrive fully geared.

  • DOT approved helmet

  • Eye protection (visor or glasses)

  • Gloves (full or open finger depending on location)

  • Over the ankle boots (no sneakers)

  • Durable long pants (no athletic or sweatpants)

  • Long sleeve shirt or riding jacket is strongly recommended

4

What to expect

This is a full day. Plan for up to 8 hours of hands on riding drills focused on low speed control, precision maneuvering, and emergency techniques. You should be physically prepared to ride for an extended period with breaks throughout the day.

4

Not sure if you're ready?

If you can confidently ride in traffic, use your clutch and throttle smoothly, and handle U turns and basic parking lot maneuvers, you're good to go. If you're brand new to riding, we recommend starting with a basic rider course (like an MSF beginner course) before signing up for ProRider.
